Thank you to all
parents who organized the Thanksgiving feast!  Everything tasted
great! The children enjoyed the story about the first Thanksgiving
celebration and they were very eager to make the turkey craft. Everything was
just right.
We have only a few weeks left in this semester and they will be very busy ones.
The Discovery School Song Fest (to be held on Tuesday, December 18 at 6:00
p.m.) is around the corner! This year, the Music Department is making a
very special celebration as an extension of their Music classes. The children
will sing and dance beautiful Disney or famous movie themes. The Music teachers
need your cooperation by providing
dresses for your child:

NURSERY
AND PK - Song
to perform: “It’s A Small World After All”. The
children need to dress up as: The
Princess, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto or any other Disney character.
We will be
learning about holidays and the traditions that different families celebrate
around the world. They will also learn about food.
In math we will
introduce the numbers 5 and 6.
During the
holiday season we would like to invite you to come to our class and share with
all the children a special tradition your family observes to commemorate the holidays.
If you would like to participate please contact us and we can set up a day for
you to come.  An easy cooking activity or an art project related to this
celebration would be much appreciated .
On Tuesday, November 27 we will celebrate Vanessa's birthday. She will have a small snack to share with all the children.
