WEEK OF OCTOBER 27-31, 2014

Dear Parents,
Thank you for coming in for the conferences last Friday. It is a pleasure to work with you and the children.
This is a short week. We will be reviewing some of the concepts learned during the previous weeks and we will be working with letter Ii vocabulary. We will be doing a variety of counting and language activities with pumpkins, spiders, ghosts, scarecrows, etc.

We will learn the rhyme:'' Five Little Pumpkins''

All the parents are invited to stay and partake in the annual U.N. Day celebrations here at school starting at 8:30 a.m, on Wednesday, Oct. 29. This is a very fun and exciting day for all, where parents and children get together to learn about new cultures.

''Book Character Day'' I would like to remind you that your child will be encouraged to come dressed like his/her favorite book character on Tuesday, October 28th. Your child must also be ready to present his/her costume and book to the class. Lower elementary will be having a costume parade starting at 8:15. We will also be Trick o treating on this day around our area. Each child needs to bring in one bag of candy.
We would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Mara's mom for donating stickers  and baskets for the children to go around trick or treating, to Giulliana's and Sofia Nicole's mom for volunteering in sending some snacks and drinks. To Ricardos's mom for  sending us treats for the baskets.
