WEEK OF MAY 14-18

Dear parents, during this week the children will continue to study rhyming. The children will listen to a collection of nursery rhymes. Nursery rhymes not merely tell stories. They help children to learn the sounds of the language. Simple words that rhyme add a delightful touch to these little poems for little ones. You can find many popular nursery rhymes for your child to learn and recite. We will send you some of the nursery rhymes we recite in school, so you can practice them at home.

In science the children will explore magnets, if you have magnetic toys or magnets please let us borrow them to enrich this unit with a variety of materials.

We want to invite you to celebrate Father´s and Mother´s day with your little ones.

Date: Friday May 18th at 8:15 a.m.

Place: Discovery School in the Preschool area.

We hope to see you there!

Please remember that our school’s General Assembly is scheduled for this Thursday, May 17 at 6:00 p.m. A quorum of 33% of the parents is needed to approve the budget and calendar for next year, and to elect the new Board Members. Your attendance is very important.

Raymond wants to thank all his classmates and friends  for the beautiful gifts he got for his birthday!
