  • Thanksgiving is time for sharing, gathering with family and giving thanks.
  • Thanksgiving is a holiday in November.
  • Thanksgiving symbols : cornucopia, turkey, Pilgrim and Native American.
  • Family and group of friends get together to celebrate Thanksgiving. A typical Thanksgiving meal are turkey, potatoes, vegetables, pumpkin pie, cranberries, etc.

As you already know, for our Thanksgiving Celebration, we are requesting Lps. 100.00. We will be using this money to buy lunch. The children will have chicken nuggets, french fries, lemonade and dessert. If you have not sent this money, please do so as soon as possible. Our lunch will be on Wednesday around 11:00 a.m. since this is a half day. Remember the children will be dismissed from school at 11:45 a.m. on this day.

Don't forget to sign and return the midterm reports!

Our annual Songfest will take place on Friday, December 11th at 6:30 p.m. Please mark this date and time on your calendar. Take into consideration that this is the time where traffic gets a little bit hectic in this city. We would really like to see all the children in school at 6:00 p.m. so we can go over last details with them. They are all very excited practicing their song every day with a lot of enthusiasm. Nursery and Prek will be performing the song YMCA. Children are asked to dress as village people. It is your choice on what to use for this costume. We are sharing some ideas on how you could dress them up.

Remember that there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th. Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe!

MIDTERM PROGRESS REPORTS– Progress reports went home last Friday, November 20. They must be signed by parents and returned to school before the Thanksgiving Holiday. If you wish to conference with a teacher, please do not hesitate to contact the school to set up an appointment.

The school will be making a donation as an institution, but would like to invite our students and parents to go through their closets and find toys in good shape to donate for this activity.
