THEME: ''Feelings and Emotions''Feelings Theme can help children identify and name their emotions. Throughout each day, children experience a wide range of feelings. Sometimes they experience them from hour to hour or sometimes from minute to minute! this theme will teach the children how to react to their emotions as well. We will answer this questions:What are feelings? ,Name some feelings that you have felt, Name feelings that you like and feelings that you don’t like, What do you do when you feel happy? ,What do you do when you feel sad?, What helps you feel better when you’re feeling down about something?, How do your feelings affect people around you?
To close our Community Helpers Unit we are planning on a Show and Tell Presentation that will be on Friday, February 5. Each child will be assigned with an occupation, they will have to answer the following questions. "What do I do?" "How do I transport?" "What tools do I use?" "Where do I work?" Children should come dressed as the community helper that they have been assinged. We are NOT demanding an expensive or fancy suit, it is up to you how and what you are going to use. Children should also bring a poster illustrating the questions, this will be a help while they present.
