WEEK OF MAY 9-13, 2016






Dear Parents,

This week we will be reviewing letters, sounds and vocabulary from a-z.
We will be doing phonemic awareness activities and we will also be practicing some CVC words.





Some stories we will be reading this week:




Everything must go! said the sign on the pet shop window. A platypus, terrapin and gecko are all at knock down prices. The rat with half his whiskers missing thinks he's the best bargain but what is behind that door?

In Math we will be playing pets grid games, working with ten frames, sorting pets by size and practice writing numbers 1-15.


THEME: ''PETS''

* Students will learn about different places to purchase a pet.
* Students will understand the benefits of having a pet of their own.
