Dear Families.
Dear families It was very pleasing talking to you at Parent teacher conference. I believe that we are ready to begin the challenges of the second school period.
· We are going to start by learning about Nocturnal Animals.
· In language, the students are going to learn the letters of the alphabet using the method of the Zoo Phonic Animal. This is an excellent method for the children since it is accompanied of sounds and movement. This favors the brain to remember and to assimilate information in a more effective way.
· In mathematics we will introduce the numbers 3 and 4
On Friday, October 28th we will celebrate U. N. day please try to join us.
On Monday October 31st we will be having our Book Character Day. Please be sure to send your child with a costume for that day. We will all be changing into our costumes at 9:15 am for the party. We plan to have a special snack of cookies and juice that day as well. We will also do a small parade around the school so everyone can enjoy our costumes. We would love to have a few parent volunteers for that day so please let us know if you can help out- thanks!
Please send us a bag of soft, chewy candies or chocolates, no later than Wednesday, Oct. 26th
