WEEK OF DECEMBER 12-15

Dear Parents:

The children had a great time decorating their Christmas tree. Thanks to Ms Wendy, Ms. Gissela, and Ms. Nancy who contributed their time and many pretty decorations.

This week we will introduce the numbers 9 and 10. Also, we will continue to practice the Zoo-phonics letters. The family project is due this Monday, December 12.  Please send it back to school on this day. Every child will have to present their project to the class.

All parents are invited to come to school on Wednesday, December 14th to celebrate the Holidays with the preschool kids. We will begin at 8:15 a.m.

Reminders:

  • Songfest is this week on Thursday December 15th at 6:00 p.m. Please be sure to have your child here by 5:30 pm.  He/She needs to wear black pants or skirt and a green, red or white top..

·         - The Juniors and Seniors will be selling food and baked goods before Songfest begins. Once the performances start, sales will close so everyone can enjoy the students presentations. Plan ahead for traffic so you can arrive early and support our students in their sales. The proceeds for both classes go toward fulfilling the Community Service requirements set by the Honduran Ministry of Education.

We want to wish you all a very Happy Holidays and a restful break. We look forward to seeing you and the students in 2012!
