WEEK OF MARCH 5-9

Dear Parents:

Welcome to March! The students have been studying about trains and they have enjoyed reading books, learning songs, building train tracks, and playing with toy trains. Thanks to the children who contributed their books and toys to our class.

Next week we will learn about vehicles that travel by air and by water. To conclude our study of transportation the children will build a racing car out of a box. Please send to school a big cartoon box, big enough for your child to fit in.

In math, we have been learning about the clock, last week we asked the students to tell us why clocks are important, they said that clocks help us to know when it is time to come to school. This week we will do several experiments to understand the duration of a minute, also they will understand that some activities take more or less time than others to complete them.

Please be sure to send back the folder to school, we need it every week.

YEARBOOK PICTURES – Nursery and Pre-K class are scheduled to have their individual and class pictures for the yearbook taken on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:00 a.m. Try to not be absent on this day, and to look prettier than usual!
