Dear Parents:
WELCOME TO PRESCHOOL!!!
The school year has gotten off to a great start!
It has been a true joy getting to know your little ones, each one of them is
really special to us. We have spent the last two days learning the rules and
routines in the classroom as well as getting to know each other. This week we
will begin learning about shapes and colors. First, we will introduce the
shapes, circle and square, as well as the colors, blue and red.
To develop fine motor skills and correct pencil
grip the children will do tracing activities. Each student will be encouraged
to trace several lines following the appropriate directions; left to right, and
top to bottom, the circles need to be traced counter clockwise.
We would like to ask for your help in checking
your child’s folder inside their back pack when we send it home and please return it to school the
next day.

parents that have already sent the classroom fee ($100).
If you have not done so, please do so by Monday.
We want to remind parents that our open house will take place on Thursday,August 16 at 7:30 a.m.
Please
remember to label
all of your child’s belongings (book
bag, thermos, lunchbox, sweaters). Students
need to have a water bottle / thermos here at school. School does
not provide
paper cups.
