WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 18-21

Dear Families:

Thank you very much for your collaboration, the typical breakfast was delightful. The children had the opportunity to try different Honduran dishes.

Dia Del Niño was also an enjoyable celebration; we will share some pictures with you.

The children have been working hard learning their shapes and colors; they have been sorting objects according to these attributes. Next week we will introduce two more shapes: diamond and star and the colors purple and brown. Also, the students will continue to learn more about day and night.

Please check your child’s back pack on Tuesday September18th. We will send you the first progress report, After reading it, please sign it and send it back to school in your child’s folder.

 If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s progress report do not hesitate to call us or you can make an appointment through Carolina in the reception office, We would be glad to talk to you.

NUTRITIONAL TALK – Ms. Erika Corletto is organizing a Nutrition Talk for our Discovery School parents, sponsored by Pediasure. This talk will be offered by Eda Flefil, a nutritionist that will be talking about the benefits of a well-balanced diet. Please join us on Friday, September 21 at 2:30 p.m. in our school library.
