WEEK OF MARCH 31- APRIL 4



This week we are going to be working with the letter Yy. The vocabulary that we are going to be focusing on is the following: yellow, yo-yo, yak, yolk, yarn, yogurt, yell, yardstick, yard, yawn, yell, yatch.







Some of the stories that we will be reading this week are:







In Math children will continue practicing counting and writing numbers 1-12. They will practice putting numbers in order and they will use magnetic numbers to do exercises.

Our theme for this two weeks will be'' Easter and Spring''. The vocabulary we will be focusing on is: chick, egg, Easter, spring, flowers, basket, butterfly, bunny, birds, sun, bee, trees.


We will also be talking about ''Earth Day'' and doing many activities to  teach the children  about our environment and how to preserve our planet.




 MARKETING DISCOVERY SCHOOL:  The Marketing Committee has been very active in developing ways to market the school. We are printing brochures and colorful signs that will let the public know more about us. If you have a business or organization that would like to display either a sign or brochures, please contact Karla Soto, Marketing Coordinator, at dsmarketing@discoveryschool.edu.hn  and we will provide those to you.


CHOIR MEETING – There will be a Choir meeting on Monday, March 31 at 3:15 p.m. in the school library. Important information will be discussed in this meeting. At least one parent for each student who is going to New York City must attend!
