WEEK OF APRIL 7-11

This week we are going to be working with the letter Zz. The vocabulary that we are going to be focusing on is the following:zipper, zig-zag, zebra, zoo, zero.

Some of the stories that we will be reading this week are:

In Math we will be doing fun easter counting activities, we will also review AB, AAB, ABB, ABC patterns.

We will continue with our theme''Easter/Spring''. Children will do name recognition activities, puppets, scissors skills and fine motor skills.

For our Easter Egg Hunt celebration  we are requesting Lps.150, a bag of soft  candies or chocolates and a bag of plastic eggs. 

DISCOVERY IDOL – Our annual show will take place at 10:15 a.m. on May 1, 2014.

We are inviting all our students to work hard this week and prepare something to

showcase in the show. Audition will take place on Wednesday, April 23 during lunch.

MARKETING DISCOVERY SCHOOL:  The Marketing Committee has been very active in developing ways to market the school. We are printing brochures and colorful signs that will let the public know more about us. If you have a business or organization that would like to display either a sign or brochures, please contact Karla Soto, Marketing Coordinator, at dsmarketing@discoveryschool.edu.hn  and we will provide those to you.
