WEEK OF APRIL 18-22, 2016


This week we are going to be working with the letter Xx. The vocabulary that we are going to be focusing on is the following: xylophone, x-ray, fox, ox, mix.






Some of the stories that we will be reading this week are:


Rod Campbell's classic lift-the-flap book Dear Zoo has been a firm favourite with toddlers and parents alike ever since it was first published in 1982.
Young children will love lifting the flaps to discover the animals the zoo has sent - a monkey, a lion and even an elephant! But will they ever manage to send the perfect pet?

In Math we will review patterns, numbers and positional words.

THEME:

''ZOO ANIMALS''


Students will develop a better understanding of the differences between zoo animals and animals that are not in the zoo.

This week we will discuss the importance of keeping the earth clean and preserving its natural resources. 

Children will learn the importance of keeping our planet clean and learning how to reduce, reuse, and recycle. kids will get creative helping and celebrating the earth.
