The Stories for this week:
''Where the Wild things are''
One night Max puts on his wolf suit and makes mischief of one kind and another, so his mother calls him 'Wild Thing' and sends him to bed without his supper. That night a forest begins to grow in Max's room and an ocean rushes by with a boat to take Max to the place where the wild things are. Max tames the wild things and crowns himself as their king, and then the wild rumpus begins. But when Max has sent the monsters to bed, and everything is quiet, he starts to feel lonely and realises it is time to sail home to the place where someone loves him best of all.
RHYME OF THE WEEK:
We will keep learning and making fun activities with the Clock!
We will be reviewing numbers 1-15, matching and making sets.
THEME: ''ZOO ANIMALS''
In preschool zoo theme, children will learn :
- Mention zoo animals such as : zebra, elephant, camel. bear, tiger, monkey, kangaroo, giraffe, snake etc.
- A zoo is a place for animals.
- Zoo animals are kept in cages, fences or water.
- A person who feeds and takes care of the zoo animal is a zoo keeper.
- Veterinarian are animal doctors .
- Zoo animal needs food, water and shelter.
MOTRICITY CLASS- We will be building a pair of tin can stilts (zancos). You may start looking for 2 clean and empty tin cans of the same size and two pieces of rope that are as long as your child's height up to his or her shoulder. We will start using them on Tuesday April the 12th. Please make sure your child has its own pair by that date.
