Stories of the Week :


In the book There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell! by Lucille Colandro an old lady swallowed a shell. Then she swallowed a crab, then a fish, a gull, and a pail! She swallowed the crab so it would live in the shell in her stomach. She swallowed the fish so it would catch the crab. Then she swallowed the seagull to eat the crab. After that she swallowed a pail to carry the seagull. Will the old lady explode? Read the book to find out.





Rhyme of the Week:














In Math we will be learning about ''The Clock''
They will learn that the shorthand is the hour hand and  that the long hand is the minute hand.
We will keep reviewing numbers 1-15. making sets and writing numbers.








THEME:  ''OCEAN ANIMALS''
  •  We will discuss how the bottom of the ocean is covered with sand, rocks, sea shells, various types of plants and seaweeds and even corral reef etc.
  •  Discuss and explain what type of sea cretures and ocean life crawl along the bottom of the ocean floor such as lobsters, crabs, star fish and other ocean creatures.
  •  Talk about what types of sea birds you find near the sea. Birds like sea gulls, pelicans and even penguins etc. nearcertain oceans.
